What is AAIP?

The Alberta Advantage Immigration program (AAIP) is the Alberta immigration nominee program. That is Province Nomination. Professionals are accepted into the province of Alberta by PR through the PNP. But the basis of AAIP is to be included in the Alberta province job shortage list, get a Designated Employer job offer letter, create a profile in Express Entry and give the AAIP Expression of Interest to get Province Nomination only. Spouse or common law partner and children also get PR on nomination after submitting EOI to AAIP as a family.

The AAIP has 3 streams
1). Alberta Express Entry stream

Express Entry normal profile created and Alberta EOI given (Expression of interest) Normal PNP receiving Provincial nominee

2). Alberta Rural Renewal Stream

Qualified candidates with a valid job offer to work in a rural Alberta community. For this, after getting a valid job offer from the rural community, you can apply for PR through the Rural Renewal stream AAIP.

3). Alberta opportunity stream
