Malta

The stunning islands of the Mediterranean Basin, which are north of Libya, east of Tunisia, and south of Italy. The Republic of Malta joined the EU in 2004, making it one of the best places in Europe to look for new employment prospects.

What to predict

Malta is one of the most economical places to live and offers a high standard of living. Low taxes, affordable living costs, and generous social benefits are all present. One of Malta's major concerns is healthcare, and in terms of the integrated advantages it offers its citizens, the country is recognised as the fifth best healthcare welfare country in the world.

The vibrant economic environment in Malta is reflected in the current thriving job market. The World Bank has categorised Malta's service-based, heavily industrialised economy as "high income.". Low inflation rates and decreasing state debt are both present. Since Malta joined the EU, the use of the euro as its official currency has improved working conditions for island residents.

As there are only 500,000 friendly residents on the island, everyone knows one another by name, so you'll never be stuck alone or in need of companionship. Indeed, it's just one rock filled with love. The majority of Maltese are naturally polite and helpful, and they will usually be more than happy to assist you with whatever needs you may have.

WORK IN MALTA

Working in Malta also enables you to take advantage of all the perks of living in the EU, including the freedom to move around in the Schengen region, the opportunity to work and conduct business in member states with fewer restrictions, and the ability to travel to European destinations without a visa.

The pleasant, Mediterranean climate is cited as the primary motivator for moving to Malta by more than 75% of the foreign-born professionals who live there. There is at least 12 hours of sunshine per day during the hot and dry summers.

Employment conditions in Malta are favourable due to the country's English-speaking workforce, thriving tourism industry, and stunning surroundings.

Malta's economy is largely service-based and heavily industrialised. The World Economic Forum and the World Bank both rank it as a high-income nation with an advanced economy, and the International Monetary Fund categorises it as such. Having legally embraced the euro on January 1, 2008, it is a part of both the European Union and the eurozone.

The Mediterranean island nation of Malta has a strong economy thanks to its strategic location at the intersection of Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, its fully developed open market economy, its multilingual population (88% of Maltese people speak English), its productive labour force, its low corporate tax rate, and its well-developed finance and ICT clusters. Foreign commerce, manufacturing (particularly electronics), travel, and financial services are all essential to the economy. More than 1.7 million people visited the island in 2014.

THE MALTESE ELECTRONIC RESIDENCE CARD
The Residence Permit was the previous name for the Maltese electronic resident card. A person must apply for an e-residence card if they want to stay in Malta for a period of time longer than three (3) months. Interestingly, non-EU/EEA/non-Swiss nationals are also covered by this. Depending on the type of application filed to the Department, an e-Residence card's duration can vary.
