               Applying for spouse visa you must be in Canada with a valid immigration visa

Eg: valid study permit ,post study work permit ,permanent residency etc..

Apply for spouse sponsorship if ;

  • you and your spouse  live together in Canada
  • if you wish to sponser conjugal partner

HOW STUDENTS APPLY FOR SPOUSE VISA?

Yes if you have a valid Canadian student visa you can apply for spouse visa .but you must follow immigration institution properly.

  1. You are staying in designated learning institution and eligible for PSPW  100% eligible  for spouse  open
  2. Only one principle  applicant  per family  or couple.

For eg: if the primary applicant study permit holder  and depend sponser obtained open work permit under LMIA exemption code C42 spouse or study  permit holder can not              schooling  and apply for workpermit.

  1. Submit proof for genuine relationship

      You can submit  all proofs related your relationship .eg: marriage certificate, wedding  certificate ,photographs, or more other valid  documents

  1. You can apply direct open workpermit for spouse

        Two options –you may  apply  together study visa and spouse open  work  permit .or you  can apply after once  you  reach  in canada


 

HOW TO APPLY

         Arrange  basic required  documents

1. application  form for  a workpemit made  out side  Canada(form name IMM129)

2. digital  photo, passport copy

3. proof of relationship (marriage certificate)

4.  application for a temporary residence visa(imm 5257)

5 .a signed and dated letter of                        from  your spouse  mentioning  the following

  • Purpose and duration of your spouse visit  to Canada
  • Your spouse current  activity or occupation in the residing country.
  • Education details
  • Detail about  house,child,other family
  • Motivation  to return after temporary    stay in Canada

6.final  proof for you and your spouse support in Canada


 

  1. your bank statement or your spouse bank statement
